ROYALTY TATTOO, BURLINGAME CA // ARTIST: JULIAN GRAY

" I recently got this tattoo in honor of my childhood home. My family moved in December and I wanted to keep 89 Clinton close to me somehow. Like a flower, I am firmly rooted in my foundation."

-Adrianna // Redwood City, CA

gristle tattoo, brooklyn nyc // artist: fan

"I came across Fan's work on instagram randomly and was so excited about her mystical, whimsical designs. I happened to be visiting NYC so I booked one of her original designs. This was my least thought out tattoo for sure, but also my favorite."

-Sophie // Oakland, CA

PAINLESS STEEL, MISSOULA MT // ARTIST: ADRIENNE BJORGUM

"I wanted something to show my passion for design. I decided on the color wheel because I feel that color is is one of the most important aspects of design and I wanted to be able to look at the color wheel whenever as a reminder! People ask me if I colored it on myself when they see it at first. Um, no. Who has that kind of time?"

-Jenna // Portland, OR

ILLUMINATI TATTOO, SANTA CRUZ CA // ARTIST: SHAUN HANNA

"It's a depiction of my childhood name and it makes me think of my family every time I see it, which makes me happy. It's also silly and I think it's important not to take yourself too seriously. The artists name is Shaun Hanna, which was just another sign that getting this tattoo was absolutely the right decision. "

-Hanna // San Luis Obispo, CA

ATLAS TATTOO, PORTLAND OR // ARTIST: COREY FOWLER

"This is the album artwork for the Foo Fighter's The Color and the Shape. It's one of my favorites and inspired me to pick up the guitar myself. Everyone thinks I'm a scientist when they see it though."

-Alex // Oakland, CA

The honorable society, west hollywood CA // ARTIST: Emily effler

"I've always been a huge Disney fan and wanted to find a way to incorporate Disney into a tattoo in a tasteful and classy way. While this might look like a plain old rose to the common eye, I'll always think of it as the Beauty and the Beast rose."

-Kelsey // Los Angeles, CA
